Meet a city couple: gigs, galleries and neighbourhood bars

Every couple shows their world. Here's what the "Urban and culture" world means to us.

Gallery openings, gigs, neighbourhood bars, flats full of books. Couples who know their city by heart.

A urban and culture evening, in practice

A gallery opening in the 11th, a drink standing up with whoever's still around, then a gig in a two-hundred-seat venue where they know the bartender. They walk home, stop at the bar downstairs, and the night ends late, still talking about the gig.

They've lived in the city for years and know it by heart: the bookshop open on Sundays, the cinema that still runs 35 mm prints, the local place they eat at when nobody's cooked. The first drink happens in a public place you choose, and they turn up with two or three places to suggest for later, not a schedule.

What makes this world is the city. If you'd rather have a dinner improvised in a studio, that's another world, on the same app, on the same level.
