About
Reynelle is published by Aurélien Joubert under the name Tenworld Network, a one-person business based in La Ville-aux-Dames, near Tours, France. No fundraising, no marketing team: one person building the app, writing the guides and answering the emails.
The project started from a simple observation. On existing dating apps, a single woman who says she is open to meeting a couple gets dozens of identical messages, often written by only one of the two partners, sometimes by a single man. She sorts, she gets tired of it, she leaves. Genuine couples, meanwhile, can't work out why nobody replies.
Reynelle turns it around: she posts, verified couples apply, she chooses. The app will be free for women, always, and funded by the couples' subscription. No exchange of any kind has a place in it, neither in the interface nor in the conversations, and that is a moderation rule before it is a matter of tone.
The site you are reading comes before the app. It is here to explain what we are building, to publish guides that are useful right now, and to tell the first women on the waitlist the day Paris opens.
